Houston rapper Slim Thug took to Instagram to reveal that coronavirus is very real after finding out he tested positive.

It seems to be a shock to Slim Thug, who has documented how careful he has been in his prevention of contracting the highly contagious virus.

Thug admitted that he’s used a lot of protective gear and has practiced social distancing but still tested positive.

“As careful as I’ve been self-quarantined and staying home, I might have went got something to eat or something or did some stuff like that, simple stuff like that. Nothing crazy,” Slim Thug said, suggesting ways he may have contracted the virus. “Stayed in my truck. Had masks, gloves, everything on and my test came back positive.”

Slim Thug used his positive diagnosis as a cautionary tale for people who are expressing doubt about the severity of the coronavirus.

“Y’all got to take this stuff serious,” Slim Thug pleaded to fans. “Sit home, self quarantine. Do not come outside for however long they’re saying. If you have symptoms, you need to go get checked out or whatever.”
Slim Thug revealed that he currently feels good but that wasn’t the case a few days ago.

“I’m good, I feel good. I don’t have no problems right now,” he said. “The other day I had a slight fever and a cough. I feel better now, I don’t have no fever…I feel like I’m good but y’all better take it serious. It’s real out here,” he concluded.
