How They Met
When Dr. Ashely Robinson a native of Chicago, IL and Dr. Keith Robinson D.M.D. who grew up in St. Louis, MO first met, they were both eager freshmen at Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine pursuing a career in dental medicine.
They were ready to take on the world; and that they have been doing to date. Still, it took a stressed out Dr. Ashley, then a senior about to graduate, to get a date from Dr. Keith then a junior who saw how stressed out she was about her oncoming graduation. Perhaps these two qualities is what has made them successful in their practice thus far–commitment and empathy. That was Valentine’s Day of 2010 according to Dr. Ashley and, blessed with two children, they have since grown into a family of four.
Their Practice
Dr. Ashely Robinson went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and practiced public health attending to disadvantaged families for five years before joining her husband to run their dental practice.
Dr. Keith Robinson himself, graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine, and went on to complete Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D) and a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine. And in 2015, they opened the doors to The Smile Company, dental care, LLC to purse their passion.
