WTF: 2016 Cartoon Predicted Kobe Byrant’s Helicopter Crash!

First, a tweet from 2012 predicted Kobe’s horrific crash, then a Cartoon that aired in late 2016. What’s even more eery is the name of the episode of the cartoon.

In the short-lived Comedy Central cartoon series named Legends of Chamberlain Heights, a joke was made about the late Kobe Bryant being involved in a helicopter crash back in 2016.

The episode, titled “End of Days”, aired originally on November 16, 2016.

Here is the official synopsis for the episode “End of Days”, which was the eighth episode of the first season of the brief comedy series:

“A leaked sex tape causes a global internet blackout, and the Legends must find a way to survive the apocalypse. Meanwhile, Milk cashes in on his pirated Chinese satellite connection, which gives him access to the only internet left.”

The link to the episode on Comedy Central’s website no longer works, returning a 404-error. Additionally, what appeared to be a video of the clip on their Facebook page has also been deleted.

The series aired from September 14, 2016, to August 20, 2017. On October 7, 2017, the series was officially canceled after two short seasons.

Prayers and condolences from the entire Black Culture News team go out to Kobe Bryant’s friends, family, and loved ones during this difficult and unexpected time of loss. We lost a great one.

Rest in peace Kobe. Long live Mamba.
