PRINCIPAL CREATES BARBERSHOP IN SCHOOL TO CONNECT WITH STUDENTS BY CUTTING THEIR HAIR

Meet Terrance Newton, a Delaware Principal at Warner Elementary school in Wilmington. Principal Newton started cutting his student’s hair as a way to connect with more, Delaware Online reports.

Newton has created an interesting barbershop experience inside his school. There are clippers, brushers, and all the trimmings of a shop along with an actual barber’s chair and cape. His students come into his barbershop where he cuts their hair with the hopes of bonding with them in a more casual setting.

According to the school website, Warner Elementary has received the National Green Ribbon Award for their work in recycling, saving energy, saving water and growing their own food.
