4-Year-Old Stone Hicks Battling Kidney Disease Gets Wish, Becomes Police Officer in Orlando

Stone has been grappling with kidney disease since infancy, with his father selflessly donating one of his kidneys to Stone two years ago.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Orlando Police Department embraced Stone, granting him the title of honorary police officer.

Make-A-Wish Northern & Central Florida’s Anne Cuba expressed, “Our children endure so much during their battles with critical illness. We’re here to celebrate him, offering hope, strength, and joy.”

Stone’s father shared, “Seeing him in the police cars, eagerly pursuing ‘bad guys’ and apprehending them, was an unforgettable experience for him.”
