Ashton Kutcher has announced his resignation from Thorn, the anti-child sex abuse organization he co-founded in 2009 with his then-wife, Demi Moore. In his role as Thorn’s chairman of the board, Kutcher has played a significant role in the organization. Additionally, Mila Kunis, his current wife, has served as an observer on the organization’s board and is also stepping down, according to Time reports.
Kutcher’s decision to step down from Thorn was made public through a letter to the board, where he cited the backlash he faced following the revelation that he and Kunis had written letters of support for Danny Masterson prior to his sentencing for r*pe.
