This young hero from Westlake, Ohio, stepped up when his mother went into labor with no one else around.

Eight-year-old Malone Matthews recounted how he sprang into action, calling the ambulance and grabbing towels to assist his mother, Peilar Matthews, who initially mistook her contractions for Braxton Hicks.

With emergency services delayed, Malone took matters into his own hands, delivering his baby brother, Rushane, into the world.

Reflecting on his remarkable feat, Malone expressed pride in his actions, noting that he did what the doctors couldn’t and even managed to “save my mom some money.”

Malone’s father, Malachi Brown, commended his son’s composure under pressure, emphasizing his quick thinking and resourcefulness during the unexpected delivery.
