Transcend Conference 2021 may be the newest faith based conference we need! From seminars to performances by some of the gospel industry leaders, this event brings together Christians to celebrate and learn more about their faith.
Though it is the first ever Transcend Conference, the event is focused on making a long-term impact in the community. Based around supporting fellow christians in the area with workshops and more, the worship & praise performance was a treat for all those that attended.
The event was hosted by Lebanon Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC and had amazing support from sponsors such as; North Carolina Baptist Association, The Send Network, The Pillar Network, and many others. The event is sure to return another year to help keep christians motivated and sharp through uncertain times.
While the conference itself is being noted as a success due to support in the gospel industry, a renown artist has sought talent from his own backyard of North Carolina. Multi-award winning gospel artist KJ Scriven chose North Carolina singer song-writer Jae Emanuel to sing backup for him at the conference.
Jae Emanuel (Joshua Alston) performed live with the singer/songwriter for the live two day conference and has stated in an instagram post , it was a divine connection that lifted him up to be recognized by the award winning artist.
This will be Jae Emanuel’s first performance in 2021 with professional gospel industry talent. However, the singer is no stranger to music. Currently Jae Emanuel has 3 singles available for listening on all major platforms including spotify, iheart radio, and amazon music. In a June 4th recording of ‘The Vibe Selection’ with Kyra Mahoney, Jae explains his process in song-writing and how every song written has an important story attached.
While the year has been scarce with performing opportunities for many performance artists, it is clear why this talented singer has been chosen for the event. In late August, the artist secured a partnership with one local hospital in North Carolina to perform for the nurses and patients at their chapel to give comfort during the pandemic times. Jae Emanuel states, “I am happy to perform, encourage, and share stories through music any way I possibly can.”
Jae Emanuel has no plans of stopping at this moment of success. The singer plans to perform for the holiday season from November- January with performances taking place across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia at state and county events. Outside of physical celebratory events this holiday season, Jae Emanuel will also be participating in virtual events on social media platforms with organizations that have yet to be disclosed as of yet.
