Meet Matthew Henson the first man to “stand on top of the world” at the North Pole

Matthew Henson was the first man to “stand on top of the world” at the North Pole. Over a 23 year period, Henson was apart of 7 expeditions to the Arctic. He died March 9, 1955 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
