Born in Alabama in 1898, Ann Cole Lowe became a full time seamstress at 16 yo when her mother died suddenly Moving to NYC, she became the 1st Black woman to have a shop on Madison Ave Her most famous design is Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress. #BlackHistory
