Breaking News: Georgia Mother Devastated After Her 2-Year-Old Son Is Mauled to Death by Dogs at Daycare

Valdosta, Georgia — What began as an ordinary Saturday for Adrianna Jones turned into a nightmare no parent should ever face. Her two-year-old son, Kaimir Jones, was killed by two Rottweilers while in the care of a woman who had promised to keep him safe.

According to Valdosta Police, the babysitter, 48-year-old Stacy Wheeler Cobb, left the toddler unattended for more than two hours while she took a nap. During that time, little Kaimir somehow wandered into the backyard, opened the kennel, and was attacked by the dogs.

When Adrianna arrived, she found what police described as a “horrific” scene. Her baby boy — the light of her life — was gone.

“It’s heartbreaking, devastating, and traumatizing,” Adrianna said through tears. “I left my baby in her care thinking he was safe… I’ll never hold him again.”

Cobb ran an unlicensed daycare and now faces second-degree murder and child cruelty charges. Authorities have seized the three dogs from the property as the investigation continues.

Neighbors say Adrianna’s screams could be heard from blocks away. “It broke everyone’s heart,” one witness said. “You could feel her pain in the air.”
