25-YEAR-OLD BLACK WOMAN PASSES AWAY AFTER NOT RECEIVING HELP FROM DOCTORS IN A TIMELY MANNER

Tashonna Ward, 25-year-old Milwaukee daycare teacher, passed away on Jan 2nd whole waiting on medical attention.

She experienced chest pain and tightness of breath and spent over two hours in the emergency room. Ward left to find more urgent help but eventually collapsed.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has not ruled the cause of death. It doesn’t mention whether Ward was admitted or seen by a doctor at Froedtert before she left.

n a statement to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a spokesperson for Froedtert Hospital said: “The family is in our thoughts and has our deepest sympathy. We cannot comment further at this time.” Officials did not answer questions from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about the death or general emergency department procedures.

Ward’s family says she was kept in the waiting room and was not under any monitoring when she decided to leave.
